Evergreen orpine is an unusual alpine sedum with beautiful geometry to the leaves. Large, round blue-green leaves grow in a clumping, non-spreading form. Towards late summer flowers bloom in and appear star-shaped, pale purplish-red in color. It can be grown as a groundcover and in Europe is used in green roofs and walls.
