This milkweed cousin loves the sun, and moist to dry, well-drained sites. With it's showy bright flowers it's sure to please all sorts of pollinators. Bees, Butterflies, and Hummingbirds are drawn to it's nectar. Flowers are a nectar source for many butterflies and leaves are a food source for monarch butterfly larvae (caterpillars). It is drought and deer resistant.
