Cerastium lanatum/Wooly Alpine Mouse Ears

This little cerastium is so cute andfuzzy, to see it is to want to pet it.

Cuteness aside it has a practical side in making a great groundcover with low maintenance while remaining semi-evergreen. Tiny white bell shaped flowers flowers appear in early summer. 

Use it in mass plantings, rock gardens, borders, containers or even as a lawn substitute. It will do best with a gravel mulch.
