Geranium pratense 'Midnight Ghost'/ Cranesbill

This exquisite Cranesbill sports blush pink veins on white petals that resemble butterfly wings. White flowers on burgundy red stems open from dark red buds. Dense finely cut foliage starts out olive green in the spring then darkens to deep purple adding a haunting presence in the garden. Evening time sees the flowers of Geranium Midnight Ghost glowing in the moonlight. Cranesbill Geranium are ideal for slopes, rock gardens and woodland edges. Long lived and drought tolerant once established.
