Herniaria glabra/ Rupturewort/ Green Carpet

 This low growing drought tolerant ground cover only reaches about 3 inches in height and forms a matforming green carpet. Rupturewort is a soft to walk on, and it can take quite a bit of foot traffic making it a viable lawn substitute. Its small, vibrant green shiny foliage will get inconspicuous lime-green to white flowers on it, but they are barely visible and do not attract bees. 

Use in beds, border, slopes, in between flagstones, rock gardens or even containers, anywhere you need a filler.
