Oenothera pallida

This species produces a considerable amount of fragrant white flowers with a crepe-like texture that bloom in.the evening during summer and gradually fade to a soft pink the following day. It is well adapted to thrive in hot and dry conditions with soil that drains well, making it ideal for a rock garden or as edging. Once established, it is highly tolerant of drought. Although not long-lasting, it has the ability to self-sow when in a favorable environment. As a North American wildflower, it serves as a great choice for native plant gardens.
