King's Crown is also known as Ledge Stonecrop, or  Western Roseroot. Scattered and locally common at high elevations in Western Canada and USA. It is a good rock garden plant in lower elevations. Succulent blue-green leaves clad the many stems with terminal clustered red flowers. The leaves and roots are edible and rich in vitamins.
